Bone glue is a classic glutinous glue, a purely natural product and is supplied in pearls or as a powder.
Chemically, bone glue is partially hydrolysed collagen with an amphoteric character. The bone glue solutions have a high protective colloid effect and show the typical behaviour of sol-gel conversion.
Bone glue has a wide range of applications. It is used as an adhesive for paper, cardboard, wood, polystyrene, felt and fabric. Bone glue is therefore used in the cardboard industry, bookbinding, instrument making, case making, the restoration of picture frames, for gilding, for gluing colour pigments, for fabric finishes and much more.
Application examples:
Picture frames, laminating plants, wood joints, smelting works, refineries, artists’ supplies, theatre supplies
Chemical properties:
Jelly strength (12% 160 – 180 Bloomgram
Viscosity 65 +- 5 mP
Water content 8.3
pH value 6.5
Delivery forms:
1 kg bag
5 kg bag
25 kg bag
Hide glue is a classic glutinous glue, a purely natural product and is supplied in cubes or as a powder. Hide glue is produced from animal hides by thermal hydrolysis and hot water extraction. The resulting glue broths are purified, concentrated and dried.
Chemically speaking, hide glue is partially hydrolysed collagen with an amphoteric character. The bone glue solutions have a high protective colloid effect and show the typical behaviour of sol-gel conversion.
Hide glue has a wide range of applications. It is used as an adhesive for paper, cardboard, wood, polystyrene, felt and fabric. This means that hide glue is used in the cardboard industry, bookbinding, instrument making, case making, picture frame restoration, gilding, for gluing colour pigments, for fabric finishes and much more. Due to its high protective colloid effect, it is suitable for the production of textile and dyeing auxiliaries, emulsions, washing-active substances and as a brightener in galvanic baths.
Hide glue is a classic glutinous glue, a pure application example:
Restorers, inlay work, laminating workshops, sheathing workshops, case factories, gilding, sanding technology
Chemical properties:
Jelly strength (17%) 180 – 220 Bloomgram
Viscosity 87 +- 5 mP
Water content 8.3
pH value 6.1
Delivery forms:

Rabbit skin glue / rabbit skin gelatine is a classic glutinous glue, a purely natural product and is supplied in cubes or as a powder. Hare glue is produced from hare skins after dehairing by thermal hydrolysis and hot water extraction. The resulting glue broths are purified, concentrated and dried.
Chemically speaking, rabbit skin glue is partially hydrolysed collagen with an amphoteric character. The bone glue solutions have a high protective colloid effect and show the typical behaviour of sol-gel conversion.
Rabbit skin glue has a wide range of applications. It is used as an adhesive for paper, cardboard, wood, polystyrene, felt, fabric or gold leaf. Rabbit skin glue is used especially where strong adhesive and bonding forces are required. Examples are gilding or picture framing.
Application examples:
Gilding, wooden chairs, bookbinding
Chemical properties:
Jelly strength (17%) 330 – 400 Bloomgram
Viscosity 144 +- 5 mP
Water content 8.3
pH value 6.1
Delivery forms:

Fish glue is made from the skin of wild-caught herring moray eels. It is sustainable and environmentally friendly. It is an organic fish glue with high initial adhesive strength. After application and drying, high-strength bonds are formed.
Fish glue with high adhesive strength has good solvent and heat resistance, but poor water resistance. Moistening the glue joint with water guarantees easy reactivation of the adhesive.
Fish glue is used in various applications such as instrument making, woodworking, bookbinding, leather finishing and paper bonding. And for restorations and gilding using the gouache technique.
Application examples:
Instrument making

Delivery forms:
1 kg PET bottle
25 kg bucket
Isinglass or Fish bladders are made of pure collagen, these are the swim bladders of fish or only of sturgeon.
Our isinglass are cleaned, dried and bleached fish bladders. These are laid together to dry and then cut into white sheets.
Our bullhead is imported directly from large sturgeon farms. It is dried in its original form, slightly yellowish in colour and full of the highest quality collagen.
It is not possible to increase the adhesive strength.
These fish bladders are also used to clarify premium wines. Here too, the higher the quality of the isinglass, the lower the quantity used.

Instrumentenbau, Geigenbögen, Weinklärung
Bone ash is a high-quality mineral obtained from the remains of bone gelatine production. Roasted at 1200°C, all organic components are guaranteed to be expelled. Bone ash cannot be wetted by liquid aluminium and other metals. Bone ash is also an excellent pigment carrier.
Application examples:
Aluminium smelters, foundries, ceramics industry
